About theproject

Client: The Crown Estate
Year: 2016
Location: London

Sofitel sits within the former banking hall of Cox’s and King’s, a Grade II listed neoclassical building, that was styled in the 1920s to be in keeping with John Nash’s original Regent Street. The primary objective of Studio 29 was to illuminate the hotel facade in a way that was complimentary to the lighting masterplan for Regent Street without causing glare within each bedroom.
